Anize is a
registered Counselling Psychologist who completed her
Masters in 2005. She worked as a school psychologist for two
years and from there expanded her horizons into private
practice and industrial psychology. During this period she
completed a thesis on Peer Support in Schools and also

transformation. She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy
and makes use of specific techniques such as Eriksonian
Hypnosis, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
Impact Therapy as well as Ego State Therapy.
Anize has experience in working with children, teenagers as
well as adults and enjoys the variety and challenges that
transpire in the different age groups. She derives her
energy from working with people from all walks of life and
from being part of a relationship that creates
transformation. She does not see herself as an expert but
rather as a collaborator in the search for each individual’s
own unique truth.
